Verification Policy
Every profile is reviewed by our team before it appears to other members. Here is what that means.
What we review
That the person's stated education and profession are genuine, using the details and documents provided in the profile.
That the profile looks genuine and complete, and that photographs and details are consistent.
What happens after you sign up
You complete your profile. Your profile then waits for review and is not shown to others until it is approved.
If something is missing or unclear we may ask you to correct it. Profiles that cannot be verified are not shown.
Ongoing checks
Members can report a profile. Reported profiles are reviewed, and accounts that give false information or break our terms can be blocked.
Limits of verification
Verification confirms what we were able to check at the time. It does not guarantee character, intentions or future conduct. Please read our Safety Tips and make your own enquiries.
